Hot Caramel Apple Cider

This hot cider tastes like a warm sip of autumn. Top with a dollop of whipped cream for the ultimate cozy combination.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice or apple cider
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Tate+Lyle® Caramel Cane Sugar Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream
  • 2 teaspoons caramel (sundae) sauce
  • apple pie spice, as needed

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat apple juice or cider with cinnamon stick in small sauce pot to simmer. Simmer 10-15 min to infuse cinnamon.
  2. Divide hot mixture between 2 mugs, adding 1 tbsp. of Tate+Lyle® Caramel Cane Sugar Syrup per mug. Add or discard cinnamon stick, depending on preference.
  3. Top each mug with 1 tbsp whipped cream, drizzle with caramel sauce and shake a bit of apple pie spice on top.
